We process more than 1,500 hectares of coconut plantations, spread across several islands in Eastern Indonesia.
In the beginning, our company was engaged in manufacturing where we processed coconut derivative products, namely coconut shells into coconut shell charcoal. And after that our company expanded and expanded into coconut plantations, to process more derivative products.
Coir is a natural fibre formed by the outer part of the coconut shell. The fibrous material can be seen between the hard shell, the inner part, and the outer layers of coconuts. There are two types of coconut coir that possess different usages:
Desiccated Coconut is obtained by drying the granulated or shredded white meat of the fresh mature coconut kernel. It should be suitably processed for human consumption.
Desiccated Coconut using the aqueous process by pressing the meat to obtain coconut cream before drying shall be classified as low fat desiccated coconut.
Desiccated coconut is classified for the purposes of commercialization into three types according to the granulometry of the product as follows:
Coconut Charcoal Briquette is a compact block charcoal which made from coconut shell charcoal. Our charcoal briquette is made of granular coconut shell charcoal that is crushed charcoal and moulded using a natural binder. As fuel, it is hotter and last longer than ordinary charcoal. It is suitable for household use both indoor and outdoor. Also, it can be used in food industries, for barbecue, stove fuel, metallurgy, etc.
Coconut sugar is the crystallized nectar of the coconut palm tree blossom that (Cocos nucifera) made by a simple boiling, cooling, and grinding process. It has been used as sugar in South-East Asia for many centuries, most particularly in Indonesia. Our Organic Coconut Sugar is made by a community of traditional coconut farmers in Indonesia and processed naturally which there is no chemicals and preservatives added.
Our organic coconut sugar is the crystallized nectar of the organic coconut palm tree blossom (Cocos nucifera).
The difference between the two is similar to the difference between dairy milk and cream: They’re made from the same ingredients (coconut, water, and sometimes guar gum for stabilizing), but coconut cream has a higher fat content than coconut milk (less water, more coconut), therefore it’s thicker
Coconut milk and cream are used both separately and together in curries and spicy soups to ‘cool’ the heat of the dish. They’re also delicious in sweets such as coconut rice pudding or coconut ice cream.
Crude Coconut Oil is the raw coconut oil made of Copra extraction; these mature dried coconut flesh must be further processed to be applicable for usage in the food, soap, cosmetic and oleochemical industries.
Is an oil that is extracted purely from fresh coconut milk, processed through significantly different stages from the other coconut oil, also smelled of pure fresh coconut water. Although mainly the content of coconut oil has no difference compared to VCO, this product has more advantages, one of which is vitamin E which works best for facial and skin care. VCO is also suitable for consumption; noticing this product is free of trans fat and not hydrogenated.
Is the refined version of Crude Coconut Oil that is suitable for consumption. RBD CNO is a bright yellow liquid and is semi-solid under room temperature. These kinds of coconut oil are used for food processing and in the oleochemical industries. CNO is relatively more resistant towards high temperatures, therefore lasts longer, and is hard to be blackened during the cooking process.
Copra is the desiccated flesh of carefully selected fresh coconuts. The selected ripe coconuts split into two, continued by drying them under the sun to detach them from their shells, arranged on special shelves for the final drying process afterward. Until lastly packed and ready to be produced as materials for various advanced products.
The areca nut is not a true nut, but rather the seed of a fruit categorized as a berry. It is commercially available in dried, cured, and fresh forms. When the husk of the fresh fruit is green, the nut inside is soft enough to be cut with a typical knife. In the ripe fruit, the husk becomes yellow or orange, and as it dries, the fruit inside hardens to a wood-like consistency. At that stage, the areca nut can only be sliced using a special scissors-like cutter.
It’s definitely not hard to find some repentances circumstances and often occurs in almost of all on these potential areas, where farmers rather find the situation’s difficult to sell their harvesting product, because the market is rather unreachable by them privately.
We also care about the issue which often faced by coconut farmers, specifically the low selling price. This situation occurs due to many factors, one of which is some domestic buyers who are not transparent. This results the farmers who don’t know the market yet have no choice but to sell their crops to an amoral people as the buyer.
This condition can be the cause for the lack of skills and abillities of the farmers in processing and upgrading their products, and we wanna fix it. The declining quality of the products will certainly be very detrimental to the farmers themselves.
